Introduction: Rosemount/Rosemount Level Transmitter 1408H, Rosemount 1408H Level Transmitter provides accurate continuous level measurement. The radar is specifically designed to meet the hygienic requirements of the food and beverage industry. Hygienically certified (3-A®, FDA, EC 1935/2004, EHEDG, etc.) with a compact, polished stainless steel housing that supports CIP and SIP cleaning, reducing the risk of contamination and ensuring product safety.

The compact form factor allows installation in applications where space is at a premium, such as small tanks and small containers

The G1" process adapter is compatible with a complete range of hygienic process adapter adapters

The M12 electrical connector is easy to install and start

The 4-20 mA output and IO-link can be easily integrated into existing or new systems

Configurable switching output to indicate abnormal liquid level conditions

Reliable level values with no dead zones up to the top of the tank - small storage tanks

The sensor is designed to withstand tank cleaning processes (CIP and SIP) as well as external washdown (IP69K rated)

The stainless steel housing has minimal gaps and is designed to be drip sealed, making it insensitive to condensation and build-up

80 GHz and FMCW technologies provide a more focused beam angle to avoid and optimize the handling of internal obstacles

Fast sweep technology provides continuous surface tracking for greater measurement reliability and accuracy, especially in fast filling applications

Maintenance-free solutions are independent of process conditions such as density, viscosity, temperature, pressure and pH

Unique CIP algorithm that automatically detects cleaning procedures
