Rail terminals – a new concept for in-cabinet connections
As the application and development of the industrial control cabinet deepens and the needs and pain points of customers are constantly changing, Phoenix Contact has always maintained a leading position in technological innovation in the field of connectivity, and provides customers with more efficient, reliable and comprehensive in-cabinet connectivity solutions through product iteration and optimization and upgrading.
Using Push-X connection technology
XT/XTV series terminal blocks
With the new Push-X connection technology from Phoenix Contact, customers can enjoy innovative in-cabinet connections and further improve wiring efficiency and reliability.
☑ Different from the Push-in self-locking connection technology, the products using the Push-X connection technology do not need to be equipped with cold ferrules, even if the flexible wire is flexible, it can be connected without tools, saving installation man-hours;
☑ The pre-tightened spring triggers the connection with minimal insertion force and provides the same reliable pull-out force as the PT;
☑ Clear visual and audible feedback during wiring increases wiring reliability.
Based on the Push-X connection technology, Phoenix Contact now offers the XT series with front cable entry and the XTV series with side cable entry.
Plug and pull using the lever connection
For easy on-site connection or testing, LP series combi plugs and LPO series test plugs are available based on manual lever connection technology.
LP series plugs
The Combi family is now a new addition with paddle technology for better field wiring, compatibility with the CLIPLINE complete system, adaptation to different connection technologies, standard plugs from 1 to 15 positions, and free assembly on request.
LPO/LPS test plugs
The test plug adopts lever connection technology, which is more convenient for on-site test and pick-up line, and the test operation is completed through the bridge well, which is efficient and reliable.
Save space in the cabinet rails - PT four-layer terminals
With the increasing integration of control cabinet functions and the more stringent requirements for the space in the cabinet, the newly launched four-layer terminal based on PT connection technology saves customers 3/4 rail space compared with conventional single-layer terminal models.
Provide a wide range of product types, straight-through type, knife switch, break, fuse and other functional types;
☑ The CLIPLINE complete universal attachment system enables flexible jump-in via universal FBS bridges, universal test and functional accessories;
☑ A single terminal connects the power and signal of the sensor, which complements the PTIO and provides a 2.5 mm² sensor/actuator connection solution.
Cabinet equal-width terminal solution – UTF series terminal blocks
In order to meet the application requirements of different wiring systems such as two-wire, three-wire and four-wire, the existing terminal solutions, such as the control system of the petrochemical industry, need to apply a large number of straight-through terminals, knife switch terminals, and fuse terminals in the cabinet, and will encounter problems such as the inability to quickly and continuously bridge, the inability to identify quickly as a whole, the plug-in fuse plug is easy to fall, and the terminal strip in the cabinet is not beautiful.
Phoenix's new UTF series of equal-width terminals features easy bridging, fast marking, neat and beautiful assembly, and space-saving cabinets.
The UTF series of equal-width terminal solutions are available in three main product types: straight-through type, knife switch type, and fuse type:
☑ The straight-through terminals are designed with up to 3-position bridge shafts, and with plug-in bridges, they can easily realize the function of continuous bridging;
☑ The knife switch terminal can be easily opened with a screwdriver to realize the breaking of the line;
☑ The fuse terminal is designed with a cantilever fuse module, which is not easy to fall and is easy to bridge and realize the protection of the line.
