SchneiderElectricTeSysK miniature contactors combine long mechanical and electrical life with high reliability. This series is designed for integrated and induction motor applications in control systems. TeSysK contactors are quick and easy to set up and comply with international standards. The special armature frame design allows all devices in the series, whether AC or DC, to have the same physical size and the same panel volume for easy use.

How is the use of categories AC1 and AC3 different for TeSys contactors?
Contactor usage categories define current generation and disconnection values based on the controlled load type and duty cycle conditions. AC-1: This condition applies to all AC devices with a power factor of at least 0.95. Examples of use: resistive loads, heating, shunts. AC-3: This applies to squirrel cage motors, which can be interrupted during operation. Examples of use: All squirrel cage motors, elevators, escalators, conveyors, bucket elevators, compressors, pumps, mixers, and air conditioning units.
Are TeSysK contactors suitable for applications using AC4?
The LC1K series is suitable for use in AC4 up to 440V AC.
Is the TeSysK series a double-disconnect pole contactor?
The TeSysK series uses linear conversion motion to provide extremely double disconnection.
