Eaton's AFDD+ arc fault protection circuit breaker provides a comprehensive protection solution against arc fault-triggered fires, significantly improving home safety from electrical fires. With continuous electronic cable monitoring, the unit detects arc faults and automatically trips to help prevent residential electrical fires. At the same time, this all-in-one device eliminates the need for three separate protection devices and is very easy to use, combining the protection functions of a residual current circuit breaker, a miniature circuit breaker, and an arc fault detection device to protect against electric shocks, overcurrents, and short circuits or arc faults in the power cable. This provides electricians with a more efficient tool to ensure the safety of their customers and have ready access to ** arc fault detection devices that fully comply with all applicable standards.
