Manufacturing is the core industry of Dongguan, accounting for about 50% of the city's GDP, here gathered 200,000 industrial enterprises, including 12,900 industrial enterprises above designated size, electronic equipment manufacturing, electrical machinery manufacturing, metal products, special/general equipment manufacturing is the "main business" of Dongguan manufacturing, creating nearly sixty percent of the industrial added value. In recent years, "scientific and technological innovation + advanced manufacturing" has become an important guide for Dongguan to promote industrial upgrading and transformation and achieve high-quality development, and it has become a consensus for many parties to introduce new equipment for the production line and continuously improve quality and efficiency.
At the event site, Mr. Dai Jin, regional director of Han's Robotics in South China, believes that behind the hot development of collaborative robots, there are also hidden worries, homogenization and price war have become a lingering problem for many robot manufacturers, "in essence, this is because the enterprise does not master the core key technology and lacks a technical moat."
