Introduction: Rosemount/Rosemount Ultrasonic Flow Meter USM341810, the new Rosemount 3418 Octal Ultrasonic Flow Meter is manufactured, developed, and engineered by Emerson to deliver high accuracy and best-in-class performance with the high functionality required by precision legal-for-trade users. The 3418 flow meter integrates two crossed, four-channel (BG mode) meters in one flow meter body. It has a zigzag channel layout to effectively eliminate the influence of eddy current and stream flow caused by flow state disturbances in metering. A set of electronic components processes all 8-channel signals. The 3418 flowmeter received an OIML accuracy class of 0.5 in the first 5D configuration without rectifier.
