The VM series detects the speed, direction, and position of a magneto-encoder target. The VF401 senses fine-pitch toroidal magnets. VF526DT Speed and direction outputs are available.
The VM Series anisotropic magnetoresistive (AMR) integrated circuit (IC) product line features a unique (patent pending) bridge design and configuration for detecting the velocity and direction of a magnetic ring encoder target. The three products include 2- and 4-pin AMR sensors for gearboxes, engine crankshafts, wheel speed measurement, integrated bearing and seal speed and position sensing, as well as pump, motor and compressor shaft speeds.
