Introduction: E+H/Endershaus Digital Dissolved Oxygen Sensor Oxymax COS61D, Oxymax COS61D is a high-performance digital dissolved oxygen sensor that provides fast, accurate and drift-free measurements. It is characterized by low maintenance, high applicability and simple operation. The sensor's long-term stable fluorescence layer is oxygen-selective (interference-free), ensuring reliable measurements at all times. Thanks to Memosens digital technology, the Oxymax COS61D combines maximum process and data integrity with ease of operation. Laboratory calibration and pre-maintenance of equipment are possible.

Measuring principle

Oxygen-sensitive molecules (markers) are integrated in an optically active layer (fluorescent layer). Liquid wetting on the surface of the fluorescent layer. The sensor optics lie directly below the phosphor layer. The sensor optics emit a green pulse signal to the phosphor layer. The marker body excites crimson fluorescence. The duration and intensity of the response signal directly depend on the oxygen concentration and partial pressure of oxygen.
