Introduction: MOXA/MOXA Ethernet Extender IEX-408E-2VDSL2-HV, IEX-408E-2VDSL2 is a managed industrial Ethernet extender switch that enables long-distance Ethernet signal transmission over twisted pair cables. The IEX-408E-2VDSL2 devices can be easily connected in series to form a long-range multipoint configuration, with one IEX-408E-2VDSL2 device deployed at each point. With a VDSL2 connection, the maximum transmission distance between adjacent deployment points can theoretically be 3 km and the transmission rate can be up to 1 Mbps (100 Mbps if the distance is 300 m). Each IEX-408E-2VDSL2 device provides six 10/100BaseT(X) ports and two DSL ports, giving users the flexibility to connect devices distributed over long distances.
