Product Introduction:The EDS-2008-ELP series of industrial Ethernet switches are equipped with 8 x 10/100M electrical ports and 1 x plastic housing, making them ideal for applications that require simple industrial Ethernet connectivity. In addition, to provide versatility to meet applications in different industries, the EDS-2008-ELP series allows users to enable or disable QoS features and Broadcast Storm Protection (BSP) via a DIP switch on the external panel. The DIP switch enables or disables QoS features and Broadcast Storm Protection (BSP). In addition, the EDS-2008-EL series features a rugged metal housing to ensure suitability for industrial environments, and an option for fiber optic connectivity (multimode SC or ST).

In addition to its compact size, the EDS-2008-ELP series has passed 100% burn-in testing to ensure that it will operate reliably once deployed. The EDS-2008-ELP series supports standard temperatures from -10 to 60°C.
