No auxiliary pole measurement method
The 1630-2 FC Clamp Meter uses double jaws to measure ground loop resistance in multi-grounding systems. With this testing technique, you don't have to perform dangerous and time-consuming operations to disconnect and connect ground loops, or find a suitable location to install an auxiliary ground electrode for testing. You can also perform grounding tests on locations that were previously difficult to operate: inside buildings, in cable towers, or anywhere where soil cannot be touched to place an auxiliary grounding electrode.
Fluke Connect ® wireless system
The 1630-2 FC supports the Fluke Connect wireless system (not available in all regions). Fluke Connect utilizes an app on your smartphone or tablet to wirelessly connect the clamp meter. The app displays ground resistance measurements on your smartphone or tablet screen. You can save these measurements, GPS locations and images from your phone in Fluke Connect Cloud memory and share them with your team.
