Bussmann's heavy-duty 600 Vac safety switches with finger-safe CUBEFuses are UL 98 listed and have a 200 kA AC short-circuit current rating. It delivers up to 100A in NEMA 1, 3R, 12, and 4X enclosures. The horsepower rating of the Bussmann safety switch can be used in motor applications and is suitable for use at the service inlet with a neutral kit. Other features include wire-side guards and red flange handles that can accommodate up to three padlocks to facilitate lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance.

AC Safety Switch: The finger-safe CUBEFuse design helps prevent contact with live parts and reduces arc flash hazard levels, providing a safer environment for personnel.
Dual-interlock doors help prevent unauthorized persons from entering the chassis while the system is powered on.
Visible double-break, quick-close, quick-break rotary blade mechanism ensures the ON/OFF state of the switch.
The optional viewing window provides visual confirmation that the switch contacts have been operated and the ability to view the fuse indication without opening or closing the door.

Clear polycarbonate Deadfront covers live parts for additional protection against electrical hazards. The wire edge remains in place during fuse repairs
The fuse version adds protection
The fuse clamp is located on the switch center lever to ensure that both clips are powered off in the OFF position. Meets NEC® Section 690.16 which requires fuses to be isolated from all potential power sources. Cooper Bussmann recommends using the Limitron® fast-acting, current-limiting PVS-R RK5-rated fuse (ordered separately)
