  Power generation, power generation equipment, intelligent protection, quality, and electrical network love are the five important considerations for the selection of inverters in industrial and commercial power stations.

01 Power generation

In terms of power, in addition to looking at the power parameters of the inverter (maximum power, MPPT power), the following aspects need to be paid more attention to, which will directly affect the power generation.

Number of MPPT channels

Under the same input power, the number of MPPT channels of the inverter affects the power generation of a photovoltaic power station, especially when the power station has problems such as shadow occlusion, module orientation ambiguity, and module performance disagreement.

DC voltage working scale

The lower the lower limit of the inverter's operating voltage scale, the earlier the inverter starts and shuts down, the longer the daily power generation time will be, and the higher the power generation. The higher the upper limit of the working voltage, the higher the module voltage of the inverter at low temperatures, the higher the voltage can be accepted without reporting the PV overvoltage error, the more stable operation and the more efficient power generation.

The equipment of inverters and photovoltaic modules also affects the power generation power and the cost of building stations to a certain extent.

With the successive listing of ultra-high power modules, high-power modules have become a trend in shopping malls. If only the power of the module is added, the power of the inverter does not match, and the power generated by the module will be wasted. The total capacity of PV modules is larger than the capacity of the inverter, which is called overallocation. The overload capability of the inverter can effectively reduce the curtailment rate and extend the full power operating time of the machine, and expand the overallocation share of modules.

Real-time observation and recording of the voltage and current waveforms on the AC side of the inverter to quickly locate problems.

It can accurately distinguish the arc signal, quickly shut down, avoid fire, and maintain the safety of users.
