Introduction: Mitsubishi Q173HCPU/Q172HCPU series motion controller is a high-performance motion controller launched on the basis of the Q173CPU/Q172CPU series motion controller. Like the Q173CPU/Q172CPU series motion controllers, the Q173HCPU/Q172HCPU series motion controllers can be mounted on the same substrate as the PLC CPU.
Features:
High-speed motion control: The Q173HCPU/Q172HCPU series motion controller uses a 64-bit RISC processor, and the program capacity has been increased from 224Kbyte to 448Kbyte, and the operation cycle has been reduced from 0.88ms to 0.44ms, which greatly shortens the operation response time.
Flexible configuration: Like the Q173CPU/Q172CPU series motion controllers, the Q173HCPU/Q172HCPU series motion controllers can be mounted on the same substrate as the PLC CPU, using multi-CPU configuration, up to 4 CPUs (including PLC CPUs), and one system can control up to 96 axes.
SSCNET Control Function: Q173HCPU/Q172HCPU series motion controller adopts high-speed serial communication to easily set up servo-motor synchronous or absolute system. The motion CPU can be connected with the servo amplifier through the Mitsubishi servo system control network SSCNETIII (Servo System Controller Network) (fiber optic cable), each branch can be connected to 16 axes, and the speed command output can reach up to 50MPPS to achieve high-speed and high-precision positioning, the transmission distance is up to 800 meters, a single motion controller can control the servo amplifier up to 32 axes, SSCNETIII enables the synchronization of multiple axes, Advanced positioning functions such as interpolation are fully utilized, which improves the reliability of the system and facilitates system maintenance.
Motion SFC Programming: Unique Motion SFC language programming for more visibility. The actual sequence of movements is directly reflected in the program, making it easy to organize the program structure and debug it with monitoring tools. It has a variety of motion control functions, can support mechanical programs in virtual mode, replace mechanical spindles to achieve high-precision synchronous control, can create cam curves, and realize electronic cam control.
