Accurate 3D inspection of smaller, more detailed parts
DSMax concentrates 2000 contour points into a 31-mm field of view (FOV). The greater the number of contour points in the field of view, the more detailed the details of the part can be revealed and the accuracy of the 3D image will be improved, making the 3D inspection more accurate.
Fast cycling increases throughput
DSMax captures high-resolution 3D images up to 5 times faster than other displacement sensors on the market. DSMax uses a high-speed imager, high-speed compression sensing technology, and the CoaXPress® solution to achieve scan rates of up to 18 kHz (full field of view) at high resolution, reducing cycle times while increasing throughput.
Telecentric optics are configured to optimize the imaging system
DSMax is equipped with a telecentric lens that reduces shadows and results in high-contrast images. This is achieved by directing the laser beam directly to the object, reducing the amount of light reflected from the lens and increasing the amount of light reflected back to the imager. Telecentric optics are configured for high-precision measurements, where accuracy, repeatability, and throughput are all necessary for the application.
Fast High Dynamic Range (HDR) improves image acquisition
DSMax uses fast HDR technology to capture images, reducing noise in the image and improving accuracy. HDR protects DSMax from a subset of bright or highly reflective features, providing the best image for machine vision inspection.
