Introduction: The PT-7828 series of high-performance Layer 3 Industrial Ethernet switches support Layer 3 routing for cross-domain deployment. The PT-7828 switch meets the stringent requirements of substation automation systems (IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613) and rail transit (EN 50121-4). The PT-7828 Series is also equipped with Critical Packet Prioritization (GOOSE and SMV) functions.
The PT-7828 series supports Gigabit and 100 Gigabit Ethernet backbone networks, redundant ring technology, and 24/48 VDC or 110/220 VDC/VAC isolated redundant dual power inputs, which in turn improves the stability of network communication and saves cabling costs. The PT-7828's modular design makes network planning and configuration easier and more flexible, with up to 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 24 100 Gigabit Ethernet ports. In addition, the PT-7828 is available with a choice of front and rear cable outlets, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
