Introduction: The IKS-6728A series is designed for the needs of mission-critical applications in the commercial and industrial sectors. The IKS-6728A and IKS-6728A-8PoE can be equipped with up to 24 combo ports of 10/100BaseT(X) or PoE/PoE+ and 4 Gigabit Ethernet. The IKS-6728A-8PoE Ethernet switch delivers up to 30 W per PoE+ port in standard mode and supports high power output of up to 36 W for heavy-duty industrial PoE equipment such as weatherproof IP surveillance cameras with wipers/heaters, high-performance wireless access, and rugged IP phones.
The IKS-6728A-8PoE Ethernet switch supports two types of power input sources: a 48 VDC power supply for the PoE+ port and system power, and a 110/220 VAC power supply for system power. These Ethernet switches also support a variety of management functions, including STP/RSTP, Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, PoE power management, PoE device self-test, PoE power scheduling, PoE diagnostics, IGMP, VLAN, QoS, RMON, bandwidth management, and port mirroring. Designed for harsh outdoor applications, the IKS-6728A-8PoE provides 3kV surge protection to ensure uninterrupted and reliable operation of PoE systems.
