The main modules of the AC500 system: three different levels of CPUs (PM571, PM581/582 and PM590/591) A variety of fieldbus communication modules (PROFIBUSDP, CANopen, DeviceNet and Ethernet) Local expansion: up to 7 I/Os can be expanded locally on the CPU
