The expanded backlit information display offers new possibilities for analog signal processing and automatic status reporting, displaying 4 lines of content of 12 characters each, with new options such as bar graphs and moving text displays, four DIN rail/panel mount basic units, each optionally expandable with one of the four input/output expansion modules, providing up to 28 inputs/outputs in total. The expansion modules provided include: 4 x 24V DC digital inputs (with 2 x integrated 1kHz counters), 4 x 240V AC digital inputs, 4 x relay outputs, and 4 transistor outputs As with earlier versions of the Alpha, there are up to eight inputs on the DC-powered/input-type base unit, which can be configured as 0-10V analog inputs.
