The Preventa modular safety controller XPSMCM is designed to monitor safety configurations and can be configured using the software-configurable SoSafe. The safety controller CPU can also be used as a stand-alone device or as any expansion that can be connected to the XPSMCM system. These include input/output extensions, relay outputs, communication extensions, speed monitoring, and non-safety fieldbus communication modules. It has a compact design of 22.5x99x114.5mm, which is the same size as a typical safety relay.
