XPSMC, configurable safety controller, base unit
Configurable devices enable centralized monitoring of multiple safety functions such as emergency stop, safety interlock, magnetic safety interlock, two-hand controller, lightweight curtain wall, zero-speed detection, and start switch. It is designed to provide a solution for safety applications that need to meet the requirements of EN954-1/ISO13849-1 Type 4 and the IEC61508 SIL3 standard. There is an interface for communication with the Magelis or PLC.

LEDs on the front of the standard 8-way control input panel for simple visual diagnostics communication via Modbus specify 30 certified safety functions for the safety output, configure them using the XPSMCWIN software (see stock no. 464-899) and select the desired safety function after receiving the product.
Note: Stock numbers 464-946 and 464-930 are starter kits. These kits include a safety controller, XPS-MCWIN configuration software, USB to 8-pin male connector cable, 8-pin female micro DIN to RJ45 cable, subminiature 25-way male connector to RJ45 cable, cage spring clamp terminal kit and screw clamp terminal kit to connect the XPS-MC to the PC for programming and diagnostics: portable PC with 9-pin serial port: using RS382-2645 and 544-490 portable PC, With USB port: use RS464-962 and RS218-080
