Contactor LC1E series
LC1-E series AC contactors are mainly used in circuits with 50Hz (or 60Hz) AC current and 690V rated insulation voltage. These contactors can also be used in utilization category AC-3 circuits with a rated voltage of 380V and an operating current rating of up to 95A. These contactors provide long-distance connection and circuit break capabilities. These contactors can also be combined with suitable thermal overload relays to form electromagnetic starters to prevent possible overloads in the circuit. A contactor consists of three main systems: an electromagnetic system, a contact system, and an interjector system, among other components. (1) Electromagnetic system: The electromagnetic system includes a magnetic coil and an iron core, which is an important part of the contactor and is used to drive the closing and disconnection of the contact. (2) Contact system: The contact is the operating part of the contactor, mainly including the contact and the auxiliary contact. The basic function of the main contact is to connect and disconnect the main circuit and control high currents. Auxiliary contacts are part of the control loop and are used to meet the requirements of various control methods. (3) Interrupter system: The interrupter equipment is used to ensure that the arc generated when the contact is broken is extinguished, so as to reduce the damage caused by the arc to the contact. In order to quickly extinguish the arc caused by the open circuit, the contactor is usually fitted with a blocker device. Typically, semi-sealed clay stopper covers are used in conjunction with a magnetic blow-out circuit. (4) Other components: insulated shell and spring, short-circuit ring and transmission mechanism.
