Product introduction: PC-MCAT 64-axis motion controller is a new type of "motion controller + PC solution". A powerful 4-core Intel Atom processor is used to drive a high-performance motion controller and a compact PC that runs user applications on Windows.
The PC-MCAT software uses a real-time extension that allows Vindows: and motion controllers to run directly in their own processor cores.
The motion controller's own dedicated EtherCAT master Ethernet port enables packets with less than 1 μsec of vibration. The 1.91 GHzAtom processor paired with 4GRAM and a high-speed upgradeable 64GSSD delivers plenty of PC performance for a wide range of machines.
The PC-MCAT is ideal for machine types that require a combination of PC software and hardware with a powerful 64-axis motion controller. The HDM1 interface can be used to drive high-resolution displays with complex operator interfaces.
The 64G SSD can hold a large amount of machine data and recipes. PCMCAT has two built-in Dry MegaEthernet interfaces for industrial communication or connection to a visualization camera whose data can be processed directly in the PC kernel.
