The real energy consumption in the logistics industry is conveying, because in the past, a large number of motor types were required to adjust different output speeds (e.g. different conveyor belt speeds), which caused inconvenience to on-site use and spare parts. The Lenze Smart Motor M300 completely changes this, thanks to the ability to freely adjust the motor speed in the range of 500 to 2600 rpm, it is now possible to handle a wide range of speeds safely and reliably with just one geared motor, which significantly reduces the time and costs associated with dimensioning, selection of specific units, procurement and warehousing.
In today's "dual carbon" goal, where power rationing requires more stringent energy consumption, the Lenze M300 intelligent motor can meet a higher power density with its four-fold overload capacity, which is particularly suitable for drive solutions for conveyor applications. The starting torque of the material conveying is a key aspect of drive design and sizing. Due to the large starting torque, the traditional motor design is often too large, resulting in a certain amount of waste. The Lenze M300 can cover the maximum power requirements at start-up, increasing the rated power to four times in a matter of seconds, while the geared motor itself is designed to meet the requirements of normal operation, effectively avoiding the waste of energy caused by over-sizing.
In addition, if you need to adjust the speed, the Lenze intelligent motor M300 allows the conveyor belt to run at a constant speed in both directions when controlled by a PLC.
