A single way to achieve a high level of security
When multiple safety devices want to control the same output, it is common to connect them in series. However, it is not feasible to achieve the PL e safety level, because each safety device has its own safety relay. Vital has a unique ability to control small machinery safety systems without the need for programmable controllers or multiple safety relays. With the Vital Safety Module, up to 30 safety devices can be connected in series onto a single Vital and still be able to achieve the PL e safety level.
