The cold rolling mill head is a precision machined component and is easy to be damaged, so the demand feeding servo accurately carries out the feed action when the head is turned over through the electronic cam synchronous action, and the feed and head rotation are adjusted when the new product is produced and tested, if the cam curve can be adjusted in operation, it will greatly reduce the debugging time and facilitate the material changeover, so the customer needs to correct the cam curve in real time in the electronic cam meshing action under the premise of ensuring the safety of the machine head.

The cold rolling mill head is driven by the inverter to drive the motor at a constant speed, and the operation cycle of the head is large turning, large closing, small flipping, and small closing. When the steel pipe is required to travel a set distance when it is opened, the machine head also rotates to set the viewpoint, and the large and small flipping distances are different from the viewpoint setting.

Customer Needs:

1. In order to ensure the safety of the cold rolling mill head and the speed of equipment production, the delay requirement of the cold rolling mill head action and the delivery servo feed and rotary servo action is less than 1 millisecond.

2. In order to facilitate customer debugging, the rotary servo action and the transport servo action need to be corrected and smoothed in the electronic cam meshing operation.

3. The cooperation logic of the two transport servo actions is complex, and the number of periodic cam feed actions, the distance of the return action and the opportunity to start the feed action are flexibly controlled in the program.

According to customer needs, INVT selected INVT AX series programmable controllers.

In the case of high-speed operation of the machine head, the electronic cam table is actively planned by setting parameters such as spindle feed viewpoint and feed volume. The delay of the transport servo feed and the rotating servo action when the cooperative cold rolling mill head is operated is less than 1 millisecond, which ensures the high power of the equipment operation and the safety of the head machinery.

The travel of the conveying screw is about 1000mm, the feed is less than 10mm each time, and the action delay of the clamping cylinder is large, so the feeding is replaced by two conveying mechanisms. Our controller's electronic cam planning flexibility is very high, and the synchronous feed action, feed times and retraction action are packaged in the function block under the condition that the electronic cam is meshed throughout the process, and the electronic cam action can be called and corrected like a logical action.

1. By developing the electronic cam switching function block, the electronic cam curve can be corrected in real time during operation. After switching the function block by the electronic cam, the electronic cam will actively switch two sets of curve actions smoothly, which greatly improves the power of equipment changeover and debugging.

2. The six 5V differential input signals of the encoder, A+, B-, B-, Z+, and Z-, INVT controllers can be directly matched without changing through the differential collector circuit board. It can effectively save the cost of the circuit board and reduce the risk of defects in the differential to collector circuit board.

1. After adopting INVT's system plan, the commissioning time of the customer's equipment is greatly reduced, and there is no need to stop the machine every time the parameters are corrected.

2. The electronic cam is used to build the electronic cam table by using the function block of the upper and lower limits of the five-time curve, which saves a lot of secondary development time.

The upper system of INVT round tube cold rolling mill plans to adopt the Ax71 cam synchronous control function, and the high-speed pulse input fed back by the encoder is used as the electronic cam spindle to synchronously control the conveying 1 axis, 2 shafts and the head rotating shaft. The high-speed pulse input fed back by the encoder is used as the electronic cam spindle, and the function block of the upper and lower limits of the five-order curve limit and the function block of the slippery cutting table are used to make the customer's equipment debugging and interaction faster and faster.
