Introduction: MOXA/MOXA Layer 2 Managed Switches PT-508-MM-SC-24, PowerTrans PT-508 are designed to meet the needs of substation automation systems (IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613). The PT-508 supports a fiber fast Ethernet backbone, redundant rings, redundant power inputs (24 VDC or 48 VDC), and isolated power inputs (24 VDC, 48 VDC, or 110/220 VDC/VAC) for improved communication stability and reduced cabling/wiring costs. In addition, the PT-508 switches' rail- and wall-mount designs simplify the network planning process and provide greater flexibility by installing up to 8 100 Gigabit Ethernet ports for power distribution applications.
