The award-winning EndurantHD automatic transmission has been designed from the ground up with features that protect your investment and make it easy to maintain. The EndurantHD is the lightest, heavy-duty gearbox and includes breakthrough innovations such as transmission hydraulic sensors to prevent the transmission from burning out. There are even new twin PTO models designed for bulk cargo carriers. With industry-leading deceleration and maintenance intervals, it is capable of towing up to 110,000 lbs (49.895 kg) of gross vehicle weight.

Intelligent design
The design, engineering, and creation of EndurantHD starts with a blank sheet of paper and becomes an automatic transfer...... And not just an update to AMT. This allows us to optimize the weight, size and functionality of the gearbox. It's the lightest heavy-duty automatic transmission, but capable of handling 1,850 lb-ft. (2508Nm). Drivers will appreciate the smooth and intuitive shifting strategy and low-speed maneuverability. Integrated communication between the engine and transmission allows for predictive shifting and GearLogic™ functions to improve efficiency and performance.
Protect your investment
With EndurantHD, you know it's going to last. But in order to extend the service life, we have developed a variety of smart features, such as a transmission fluid pressure sensor. It will notify you of a problem and protect your truck before it's too late. Our 430mm self-adjusting clutch is maintenance-free, which means it doesn't require adjustment or grease.
Easy to maintain
Making the most of the transfer between maintenance intervals means that EndurantHD needs to last longer. So, what about 750,000 miles (1.207.008 km) of oil life? That's 250,000 miles (402.336 km) more than the competition. At the same time, half the lubricant used is half that of competing automatic transmissions.
