MEAN WELL power transformer will have two states of no load and load during operation, what is the difference between the two?
The transformer runs at no load.
The no-load operation of the transformer refers to the working state that the primary winding of the transformer is connected to the power supply and the secondary winding is open. At this point, the current in the primary winding is called the no-load current of the press. The no-load current produces a no-load magnetic field. Under the action of the main magnetic field (i.e., the magnetic field that crosslinks one or two windings at the same time), one or two windings will sense an electromotive force. When the jue is running at no load, although there is no power output on the secondary side, the secondary side still absorbs some active power from the power grid to compensate for the magnetic flux saturation, and the hysteresis loss and eddy current loss generated by the inner bow of the iron core are referred to as iron loss. The magnitude of hysteresis loss depends on the frequency of the power supply and the area of the hysteresis loop of the core material; The eddy current loss is proportional to the square of the maximum magnetic flux density and frequency. In addition, there is copper loss due to no-load current. For transformers of different capacities, the magnitude of no-load current and no-load loss is different.
Transformer load operation.
Transformer load operation refers to the working state of the primary winding when it is connected to the power supply voltage and the rental load of the secondary winding. At this time, there is also current flowing on the secondary edge of the transformer. Compared with no-load, the access circuit of the original transformer increases accordingly, and the secondary edge voltage will vary due to the load.
Normal Cycle Load Operation:
Under rated operating conditions, the press can be operated at the rated current per year.
When the average relative aging rate is less than or equal to 1, the voltage can be operated at regular times beyond the rated current.
The transformer has serious defects (such as abnormal cooling system, serious oil leakage, local overheating, abnormal analysis of dissolved gases in oil, etc.).
When there is a weakness in the insulation, the rated current should not be exceeded.
In normal cyclic load operation mode, when operating at an over-rated current, the permissible load factor K2 and time can be determined according to the method of the load guide.
