Introduction: The BN85-R solenoid switch is used to monitor the position of sliding, hinged and movable safety doors. According to DIN VDE 0660-209, sensors without self-test functions must be equipped with a safety monitoring module in order to achieve control level 3 according to EN954-1 in order to be used for safety protection. The use of safety magnetic sensors is particularly advantageous in conditions that are extremely dirty or require high hygiene standards, which can be achieved by simple cleaning of these units. Another advantage is that it can be installed discreetly under non-magnetic materials. The arrangement of the work surface and the fixed area does not need to take into account the accumulation of dust or other cleaning functions.
