This compact soft starter is a cost-effective alternative to traditional contactors and can replace star/triangle combinations. Acceleration and deceleration times, starting torque, and fast start are adjusted via the control unit in front of the machine. There is virtually no limit to the number of starts, with up to 25 starts per hour for a power rating of up to 480 A. This is a true "plug-in, go-to-go" soft starter mounted on a DIN rail. The unique contactor design allows for virtually unlimited start-ups per hour and no descaling required.
