These COMBICONSPT-SMD5.08mm pitch terminal blocks feature spring-operated levers for easy connection and disconnection of solid or stranded wire of 1.5mm2. The push-in spring connection of these terminal blocks combines spring cage and direct push-in technology. This connection method saves time and money by making a strong, reliable connection without tools. Available in a IEC60283-3 compliant reel package, these SPT-SMD series terminal blocks allow for easy integration into automation components in the reflow process. The horizontal versions of these COMBICONSPT-SMD terminal blocks have 2 fixed pins to assist with calibration and positioning on the printed circuit board. Standard, low-profile, and high-current models are available in 2- or 3-way housings that can be side-stacked up to 30. All standard and low-profile models can accept conductors up to 1.5 mm², while high current models can accept conductors up to 4 mm². This series includes copper alloy clamping components that provide a continuous and reliable screw connection and are designed to ensure that copper conductors can be clamped without pre-treatment. Labels are also available for easy identification of the terminals.
Powerful rising clamping technology with a high copper content of 85% at 250V provides excellent corrosion resistance, low contact resistance, and virtually eliminates thermal expansion of large 3mm copper alloy screws
